Laura Ruvalcaba's EPortfolio: Instructional Design and Technology

All About Me!

Introduction

As a 4th grade teacher at Washington Charter School (WCS), I find immense joy in working with children each day. The experience is incredibly rewarding, and I truly believe I have the best job in the world. Living in the beautiful desert with my wonderful family and two cats adds to my happiness. I consider myself a lifelong learner, and returning to Cal State San Bernardino as a student feels like a natural and exciting journey. Now in my second semester, I'm diving into the fascinating world of instructional design and technology, eager to expand my skills and knowledge. The future holds endless possibilities, and I can't wait to see where this path will lead me!

Reflection

Reflecting on my experience at California State University, San Bernardino(CSUSB), I have been truly impressed by the dedication of our professors to help us navigate the complexities of our coursework. Their commitment to our learning has made a significant difference in our understanding of the material. Additionally, the warm camaraderie among my fellow students has created a supportive environment that enhances our educational journey. Balancing my responsibilities as a full-time teacher with my studies has been challenging, but the flexibility offered in this program has been invaluable, enabling me to successfully complete two semesters. I am immensely grateful for the support and encouragement from my family and friends throughout this adventure. As I look forward to delving deeper into instructional design and technology, I invite you to explore my projects and witness the growth I have experienced during this transformative period. Thank you for taking the time to engage with my educational journey!
